The Role:

Sales Development Representative (SDR) provides sales support to the client by working closely with the sales or marketing teams to ensure business opportunities are discovered, qualified and nurtured and passed on to the client for close of sale. The SDR will work within a specific market and region to maximize the potential of the accounts as dictated by the client’s ideal customer profile and buyer persona.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

-Achieve agreed sales targets and results through high productivity

-Exceeding client satisfaction month over month

-Professional presentation of InsideOut to the client throughout the process of delivery

-Conduct research using a variety of different techniques including social media mining of target prospects and accounts for profiling

-Create/write your own content such as blog posts and messages to clients/prospects

-The ability to work well under pressure and react to the business needs for both InsideOut and the client

-Build strong relationships with client personnel

-Identify account development potential within assigned accounts by studying and researching current business, qualifying key target buyer personas, identifying and evaluating additional needs and analysing opportunities

-Initiate the sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments through multi-touch methods including but not limited to Calls, Emails, Online Messages, Posts, -Comments, Media Likes and Shares

-Contribute information to sales strategies by: evaluating current product results, identifying needs to be filled, monitoring competitive products and analysing and relaying customer reactions

-Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

-Enhance the organizations reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills Required:

-Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT)

-Experience with Salesforce or another CRM

-Fluent in social media of all types

-Social selling skills and techniques are a plus

-Proficient in the use of LinkedIn, Messaging and InMail

-Conduct research via social media or other means to gain insight into client’s needs

-Highly adept verbal skills and excellent writing skills

-Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge

-Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity

-Demonstrate ability to converse and engage with senior level decision makers

-Be a team player and share knowledge with colleagues

-Self-motivated and highly driven

-A high level of integrity

 

Desired Experience

-2-year proven track record achieving goals as an inside sales professional (field sales or internal sales)

-Ideally educated to a Graduate level

-Account based sales development

-Demonstrate basic social selling skills

-Able to demonstrate a high level of consistent target achievement

-Able to demonstrate self-motivation to improve knowledge and skills through personal research and development

-IT / Technology Sector knowledge is strongly preferred

-Experience in B2B sales also highly desirable

 

Selection Process:

-Initial interview stage may include a short telephone conversation to clarify key points on resume

-First Interview with Senior Management and/or HR will be face to face, to further discuss relevant experience and resume

-Second Interview (optional) to be held with Senior Management and/or HR
